What is Searchopia?
Searchopia is a software application that searches the contents of files for words and phrases using boolean logic - And/Or/Near/Not. Searchopia makes searching easy by remembering the file types and folders that you like to search. A search can include an entire disk, multiple folders, subfolders, or just the files found in previous searches. Files can also be found by their size, dates or file names. After the files are found, Searchopia's features will help you dig out the treasured information you desire.
What are Searchopia's Features?
The files that matched your search criteria can be sorted by date/time, size, type, name or folder. Double-clicking a file's name displays its contents with all the matching words and phrases highlighted.
Searchopia can view HTML files with graphics using its internal browser. This is the same browser engine that Microsoft uses in its Internet Explorer. Graphics and pictures stored in GIF and JPG format can also be viewed. Files that cannot be viewed with the browser are displayed as plain text that can be edited from within Searchopia.
Feel free to Copy or Append Text to the clipboard from within Searchopia. Files can also be edited by Launching the application associated with the file. The file management features Copy, Move, Rename, and Delete are also included to help you organize your files for even more efficient searches.
What is InfoSurfing?

InfoSurfing is the ability to do rapid, repeated searches using text selected from previously matched files to create a new search criteria. The text you highlight acts like a hypertext link that widens a search to other files or narrows a search within a file. The result is faster, more efficient information retrieval. And now with the new Previous List feature, you can move back multiple search levels to previous lists of matched files. You can even save the search results to disk so that you can continue searching right where you left off.
